This is a great article from Techcruch on ten things that tech companies can do to get blogged. It’s Techcrunch’s wishlist directed at all the PR reps who keep sending them stuff. But it makes a lot of sense.
This is a really nice script that displays photos from any Flickr.com RSS feed on your website. Technorati Tags: Flickr rss .

We’ve made it a bit easier for you to display your unique personality in Yahoo! 360° with the addition of Yahoo! Avatars. Now you have a lot more options to express yourself. You can show your friends how you’re feeling, where you are, and what you’re into. Your avatar is a virtual you, with your eye color, your hairstyle, and your interests. Or you can create an avatar that’s a whole new you – a persona for the imaginary you.
If you don’t have an avatar yet, you can go to http://avatars.yahoo.com/ and choose how you want your friends to see you. To add your avatar to your Yahoo! 360° page, just click “Edit Personal Photos” from the My Page and choose your avatar as your primary image. You can change your avatar as often as you like -- it will automatically update on your page.
We’ve also made it a little easier for you to invite your friends to join you on Yahoo! 360°. Check out the “Already on 360°” box on your home page. Click the link to see everyone in your Yahoo! Messenger list and Yahoo! Address Book who have already joined Yahoo! 360°. You can select your contacts and invite them to join you – without the hassle of entering their email addresses. For those of you who don't use Yahoo! Messenger or Address Book you won't see this new box on your homepage.
There have been hints for a while that we were going to be releasing an API for Search this year, but we had hoped that it would stay quiet for just one more week. It didn't and there is no reason to cry over spilt milk. The API itself will be released next week, but you can read about it now. The article is light on details, but we will provide more next week. Chandu Thota posted about the Virtual Earth APIs and did not skimp.
