这个词组因为Through the Looking-Glass而走红,而Through the Looking-Glass正是Alice's Adventures in Wonderland的续集。
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
Through the Looking-Glass
Tweedledum and Tweedledee的定义为: two individuals or groups that are practically indistinguishable。
Frank and Jack are like Tweedledum and Tweedledee. They read the same books, watch the same movies, and listen to the same music. They even look like twins!
A: OMG, have you met Rachel's new boyfriend?
B: What's up?
A: Let me put it this way. He's Tweedledum. Her ex is Tweedledee.
B: That can't be healthy!
A: We should talk to her. She must stop doing this to herself!
