In reviewing our map of the country a few months ago, we realized that our investor profile was deficient on the eastern seaboard. Fortunately for FeedBurner, we have gotten to know Fred Wilson and Brad Burnham at Union Square Ventures extremely well over the past couple years. Fred was one of the first two hundred publishers to use FeedBurner, and tonight, we get to announce that Union Square Ventures have joined the ranks of institutions wondering when they'll possibly recoup their investment. Fred and Brad have been engaged and helpful with our efforts from the very early days of the company, and as of this evening, "our interests are more aligned", as they say. In the continued policy of transparency and general openness about the company that we like to maintain around here, this investment expands our B round and brings the total company funding to date to $10 million. The incremental funds will go toward expanded publisher services and new football jerseys for the FeedBurner junior varsity team. Thank goodness we can avoid that bake sale now.

Tina在MSN上提醒我，好久没有写blog了。嗯，陪父母家人过了七天“吃吃喝喝睡睡节”，来上班，一下子忙起来，还没完全适应过来。除了上次在寻觅的技术服务专员（感谢大家，请到一位非常资深的业内人士。现在只有一个空席虚位以待）外，由于业务的拓展非常迅速，现在我的部门开始邀请优秀的.net开发者加盟微软，成为开发咨询工程师，和一些有潜力的实习生培养。有兴趣的朋友们可以联系我。
说到实习生，实习生项目是在微软的众多项目中我最为欣赏的几个项目之一，因为它不仅是一个商业项目，而同时是以培养未来IT精英为目标的。我看到很多优秀的雏鹰经过这个“精英训练营”后真的展翅高飞，发掘了自己的潜能。王建硕就是其中一个。
“培养”，而不是“使用”，就是我欣赏的原因吧。
